Pioneer in the manufacture of calcium soaps with production in the port of Hamburg. The trade and production of vegetable and animal mixed fats for animal feed and for technical application was expanded.

Expansion of the product portfolio to include feed phosphates.

As a consequence of the BSE crisis and the associated legal ban on feeding animal meals and fats to the livestock industry, plant-based alternatives and feed phosphates were sold to our customers as substitutes. Founding of a joint venture in the USA for distributing animal feed and technical products on the North American market.

To guarantee a reliable global supply of raw materials, we are building a Calcium-soap factory in Malaysia with local partners. At the same time, the company got GMP+ certified to offer our customers worldwide a high quality standard and to guarantee safe feedstuff. Learn more

Increased international expansion in the dry fat sector.

Purchase of our own warehouse in Neumünster, Schleswig-Holstein (present company name: GLOBO GmbH & Co. KG). In this way, we can offer our customers an individual and exclusive service and deliver goods at any time.

Foundation of the company GLOBO GmbH & Co. KG, which acts as exclusive warehouse for Heinrich Nagel KG. Start of the first production of monoglycerides and exclusive production for Nagel Feed Ingredients GmbH.

Founding of the sister company NAGEL Feed Ingredients GmbH. Specialised in the production and trade of tailor-made products for the feed industry, NFI offers highly innovative monoglyceride concepts for all animal species. This resulted in the strategic decision to no longer distribute liquid feed fats.

Expansion of the product portfolio for the flour and baking industry.
